When individual talent is not enough

Recognize any of these patterns?

A team can be full of capable people and still find it difficult to work as one. Coaching creates a structured space to examine the patterns behind that gap.

  • Important disagreements happen after the meeting, not in it.
  • People leave with different interpretations of the same decision.
  • Feedback is avoided, softened or taken personally.
  • Functions protect their own priorities at the expense of shared goals.
  • A merger, new leader or international structure has changed how the team works.

The approach

From a shared challenge to everyday practice.

01 · Understand

Agree what needs to change.

Discuss the challenge with the sponsor and team. Clarify the purpose, confidentiality boundaries and the behaviors you want to observe differently.

02 · Work together

Practice the conversations.

Use facilitated team sessions to explore assumptions, communication and decisions. Individual coaching or experiential work can be discussed where appropriate.

03 · Review

Notice what carries into work.

Agree practical actions and review progress against the starting objectives. The format and frequency are tailored; outcomes depend on the context and participation.

What progress can look like

Define evidence before the work begins.

Choose indicators relevant to your team rather than relying on a generic return-on-investment promise.

Examples to discuss include clarity of decisions, follow-through on commitments and whether difficult topics are raised constructively. These are possible evaluation criteria—not promised results.

Your coach

Work with Loïc Florentin.

Loïc leads Syntropia’s executive coaching and equicoaching work. A systemic perspective looks beyond one person to the relationships, roles and recurring patterns within a team. Experiential work brings those patterns into a shared activity, followed by reflection on how the learning applies at work. The initial call is a chance to discuss your context, ask about his approach and decide whether there is a fit.

Based in Granite Bay, California. Online work is available across the Americas, subject to scheduling. In-person location and travel arrangements are agreed individually.

Practical questions

Before you book a conversation.

How is team coaching different from team building?

Team building often centers on a shared activity or experience. Team coaching focuses on how a team works together over time: its conversations, decisions and relationships. A workshop or experiential session can form part of that work, but the right format depends on your objectives.

Who is this for?

Leadership and management teams facing challenges in collaboration, communication or alignment. The initial conversation helps determine whether team coaching, individual coaching or a focused workshop is the appropriate starting point.

Can we work online or in more than one language?

Online sessions can be arranged for geographically distributed teams. English, French and Spanish delivery can be discussed during the introductory call, alongside time zones and the composition of your team.

How long is a program, and what does it cost?

Every engagement receives a tailored proposal based on your team’s needs. Scope, team size, delivery format and follow-up determine the duration and investment. We agree these details before you commit.

Are horses part of every program?

No. HorseCxn is an optional experiential approach, not a requirement for team coaching. If it is suitable for your project, we discuss the venue, horses and practical arrangements before confirming.

Can this replace therapy or an HR investigation?

No. Coaching supports professional development. It does not replace clinical care, formal grievance processes or specialist legal and employment advice. We discuss the boundaries and suitability of the engagement at the outset.

Start with a conversation

What would you like your team to do differently?

Bring the challenge, not a finished brief. We’ll discuss your priorities and whether Syntropia is the right fit.
