Frequently Asked

The questions before the conversation.

Honest answers to what most people wonder before they reach out. Still unsure? A 30-minute call settles the rest.

About Equicoaching

Do I need any experience with horses?

None at all. No riding, no horse handling, no prior contact with animals. The session is ground-based — you simply stand in the presence of the horse and respond to what happens. Your inexperience is actually an asset: it means you bring no pre-programmed behavior to bypass.

Is equicoaching scientifically grounded?

Yes. The approach is rooted in decades of research into equine-assisted learning, polyvagal theory, and somatic neuroscience. Horses are among the most neurologically sensitive animals on earth — their ability to read human emotional states has been studied and documented extensively.

What happens in a session — step by step?

The session begins with a brief conversation about what you're bringing. You then enter the space with the horse — no script, no agenda. The horse responds to your actual state, and Loïc facilitates your observation of what that reveals. The debrief at the end translates what happened into concrete, applicable insight.

Can equicoaching be done online?

No — and that is precisely its power. The feedback is physical, immediate, and impossible to perform for. It requires presence in the same space as the horse. Sessions are available in Provence (France) and El Dorado Hills (California).

About Coaching & Programs

How is Syntropia different from a standard executive coach?

Most coaching is cognitive — it works with what you can articulate. We work with the full person: mind, nervous system, relational patterns, and body. The four modalities (executive coaching, equicoaching, NLP, somatic work) allow us to meet the issue at the level where it actually lives — not just where it's easiest to talk about.

How long is a typical engagement?

It depends entirely on what you're working on. A single equicoaching session can produce a profound shift in 90 minutes. A sustained leadership development program runs 3 to 6 months, with weekly or biweekly sessions. We always begin with a 30-minute diagnostic conversation before recommending a format.

Do you work in English, French, and Spanish?

Yes — Loïc coaches at nuance level in all three languages. Natacha works in French, English, and Spanish. Sessions can be held in the language that feels most natural to you, including switching mid-session if that's where the insight lives.

Can I start with a single session before committing to a program?

Absolutely — and we encourage it. Most clients begin with a single equicoaching session or a 1:1 coaching session to experience the approach before deciding whether a longer engagement is right for them.

About Naturopathy & Somatic Work

What does Natacha's work involve exactly?

Natacha works with the nervous system as the foundation of performance. Her sessions combine naturopathy (nutrition, lifestyle, supplementation), somatic work (body-based practices that regulate the nervous system), breathwork, sound healing with singing bowls, and NLP. The approach is always built around your specific physiology and situation.

Is naturopathy recognized in California?

Natacha operates under California Business & Professions Code §2053.5 (SB 577) as a Traditional Naturopath and Holistic Wellness Practitioner. She does not diagnose or prescribe — she educates and supports. Her work is fully legal and clearly scoped.

Who is this most useful for?

Leaders experiencing burnout, chronic stress, sleep disruption, or a sense of physical depletion that is affecting their performance. Also powerful as a complement to executive coaching — when the mind is doing the work but the body hasn't caught up yet.
