The executive who couldn’t give feedback (until the horse showed her why)
By Loïc Florentin ·
She knew every framework. She could teach feedback. And in the moment, with a real person, she went vague and warm and said nothing that landed.
With the horse she performed the same calm she performed in meetings — and the horse would not move. It read the gap between her surface and her actual state instantly.
Only when she let herself feel the discomfort, rather than smoothing it over, did the horse respond. The lesson was somatic, not intellectual: her team had been waiting years for her to mean it.
This is where a conversation begins.
